A little over 12 months ago, Telstra began looking for a machine control system to provide guidance and data recording for our rural optical fibre cable laying machinery (rip and plough bulldozers). After initially trialling with a competitor, we made contact with CR Kennedy and trialled the Leica Icon system on a project in Exmouth, Western Australia. >We were impressed by the high quality of both the machine control systems we trialled. We were drawn to the Leica Icon range due to the simple user interface, cross slope sensor functionality, simple wiring and automatic data recording feature. CR Kennedy have provided fast and reliable service and support, both in person and over the phone, during the purchase, installation and training, which is ongoing. They have been very accommodating of our schedule, and assisted the construction crews in all possible ways. A particular mention must go to Jon, our sales contact, and Anton and Jeff, who between them have been involved in most of the installations.
