When Neo Civil first mobilised to Chinamas Beach Seawall job the first thing for us to was excavate down to rock level- only half of this was achievable which meant over 100m of rock mattress had to be constructed below sea level... This would have been an extremely difficult task to do without Neo's top of the range Leica Machine Control installed on Neos 30T excavator with dredging Solution and our inhouse Surveyor Matt.
Neo Civil managed to install the underwater mattress with precision and with ease thanks to the Leica GPS control. Neo then proceeded to build a 5000 block retaining wall with the help of Leica Geosystems along with all associated works. From there we headed started on Jakes Point Seawall, this was constructed in order to protect the dunes and car park from future cyclones and rising sea levels.
Over 6500T of filter rock and armour rock was carefully placed using Leica Machine Control with ease, all in all our efficiency and productivity has improved immensely with all our Leica technology on site from C.R.Kennedy.
