We’re excited to announce that Phoebe Davis is the latest recipient of the Leica Geosystems & C.R. Kennedy Internship, following in the footsteps of last year’s successful intern, Lucy Illek.
After a competitive selection process, Phoebe was chosen for this incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience at Leica Geosystems’ head office in Heerbrugg, Switzerland. Despite some initial challenges with travel, she has now arrived and officially started her six-month internship within the GNSS team—the same team where Lucy was based.
During her internship, Phoebe will be working within the product development team, undertaking a range of tasks related to surveying technology, including:
✔ Product testing of hardware and software
✔ Workflow documentation
✔ Data analysis
This program, supported by Leica Geosystems and C.R. Kennedy, provides emerging Australian talent with an incredible opportunity to gain real-world industry experience on a global scale.
We look forward to following Phoebe’s journey over the coming months—stay tuned for updates as she shares insights into her experience, projects, and life in Switzerland!
