Solution Sales (Geospatial / Mapping)

We are Australia’s leading supplier of smart and integrated spatial data capturing solutions and services that are trusted by top tier customers to help them capture, analyse and present spatial information. 


We currently have an opportunity for a regional Solution Sales Manager (Geospatial Technology / Mapping) for New South Wales.


Areas of Responsibility:

  • Increase market share through business development and promotion of company’s high-precision mapping and surveying product range to new and existing customers within the region

  • Develop and implement sales plans and strategies to achieve the required growth and sales targets

  • Manage sales leads through to closure and monitor against approved budgets to ensure financial results are achieved

  • Present and demonstrate integrated hardware and software solutions

  • Develop a strong understanding of required workflows to suit the needs of existing and emerging market segments

  • Attend industry events and tradeshows

  • Collaborate with industry leaders, technology suppliers and marketing professionals

  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts

  • Assist in the development of sales / marketing tools and reports

  • Provide 2nd level technical support and field troubleshooting

    Qualifications and experience:


  • Minimum of five years’ sales experience within the Geospatial Industry, Mapping, Cloud-based GIS, Surveying, GNSS, GIS or related field and proven experience developing new business.

  • Bachelor's degree or similar qualification within a related field or discipline

  • Previous experience selling into the Engineering, Survey or Construction markets or direct sales experience for a technology company

  • Proven sales professional, including key account management and direct sales experience


  • Hands-on experience with GIS, surveying or mapping software and hardware

  • Knowledgeable in sales opportunity pipeline management using CRM tools

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English

  • Ability to travel as needed

  • A strong aptitude for sales along with excellent presentation and communication skills
